Abstract
This study explores the parents and children;s characteristics towards Shin Chan,Upin-Ipin,Nickelodeon, Doraemon, Sponge Bob, Tom &Jerry, Yhe Lion King, The Antz, and Toys Story films in rising of anti-multicfulturalism. A survey was conducted on 258 parents with kindergarten of elementary children at 5 Region in the Special Province oh Yogyakarta and outside Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The result show that parent's ethnicity negatively related with nikelodeon, The Ants, and Toys Story. Parents live in Sleman Region positively related with Sponge Bob and Negatively related with anti-multiculturalism. Parents live in Yogyakarta City positively related to Toys Story, Parents live in Bantul negatively related with anti-multiculturalism. Parents work at private and govermental sectors positively related hobbies on music positively related with Sginchan,Upin-Ipin, The Ants, but on sports ngativelyrelated with Nikelodeon. Children's grade negatively related with Upin-Ipin, and To, & Jerry. Children go to private scholl negatively related with Nikelodeon and Dora Eon, but children go to public schools negatively related with Doraemon. Boys and total of siblings positively related with Nikelodeon and The Lion King. Children's age positively related with Tom &Jerry, The Antz, and anti-multiculturalism.
