Abstract

ABSTRAK Public service is the one of the principal duty and authority from the government because basically the functions of the government is serving the community. Public services have strategic value and a priority to be implemented in the pursuit of good governance. Community satisfaction on the service will be supporting the good condition so public can be active and positive in the implementation of development. General public service problems are related to the weakness of good governance principles. Various issues that appears in the society where the services received by the community has not been appropriate to the expectations of all parties both the general public or the state. Public service can be good when people can easily get service and by the simple procedures , low cost, quick and almost no complaint given to them, it means people get satisfaction. The formulation of the research is how the implementation of the public services in achieving good governance in BPMPPT at magelang regency. The scopes of the research are (1) Accountability in public service that can be seen from the performance of aparatus ,cost and service products. (2) Efiiciency in the public service can be seen from the best comparison between the input in the service such as low cost, timeliness and the easily access and satisfy output. (3) Responsiveness in the public service is the ability to recognize the needs and respon of community. This research uses descriptive qualilatif research that describe and interprate the meaning of datas that have already collected. The research could be concluded that BPMPPT has been able to implement public service generaly based on the rules. The accountability , efficiency and responsiveness in service has been able to give satisfaction to the community although still needs enhancement and improvement. This condition certainly will support of the realization good governance for the government in Magelang regency.
